Based in Manchester, Maryland, Nom De Plume is the eclectic indie rock project led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Aris Karabelas, alongside bassist Michael Magee and drummer Jim Kopp. Drawing from indie rock, folk-rock, Americana, and progressive rock traditions, the band creates lush and emotionally layered music with a surprising pop sensibility. Nicholas Cantine is a Casper-based songwriter, recording artist, and producer known as the creative force behind the alternative folk project Pleasure People. Influenced by dark Americana, cinematic arrangements, and emotionally driven storytelling, Cantine’s music blends unusual instrumentation, haunting textures, and introspective lyricism into a unique and moody style that draws listeners inward. In addition to his work as a performer, Cantine operates Harmonyx Audio, where he works as a producer and engineer for local, regional, and national acts.
