Atrium Plaza Historical Renovation

The Atrium Plaza is a certified historic structure that is part of the Casper Downtown Historic District and listed in the National Registrar of Historic Places.  The building was first opened as the JC Penney Building in 1942, right before the US entry into World War II.  As the only retail department store built in Casper from 1930-1945, the Atrium Plaza represents downtown Casper's resilience and rebirth through difficult times.

The Atrium Plaza is undergoing historic renovation to replace the roof and restore the exterior facade facing 2nd Street back to its original style and character.
